Whether you are planning a fancy wedding, a formal company function or are in need of a ballroom for a film shoot, we can accommodate your needs. Our venue has hosted everything from birthday parties to Bar Mitzvahs, reunions, anniversary parties, book signings, sample sales, travel shows, concerts and luncheons. We even have a real stage with stage lighting, electric curtain, backstage dressing rooms, a concert grand piano, a projection screen. Due to the fact that our venue was built way before electric amplification was invented, it was designed to have naturally good acoustics. To our knowledge, we own the only two story ballroom in Santa Monica and on the Westside.
Unfortunately, we do not have a handicapped
accessible bathroom (but we are working on that) and the upstairs
is not accessible via elevator. The following rooms are available: |

A) The Downstairs Ballroom (The Auditorium) Hardwood floors, high ceiling. Perfect for large scale events with live music, sales events and slide shows. Capacity for dining: 250; concert and dancing: 350. Rates are available upon request. Additional tables and chairs are available. For the ballroom, a one million dollar liability insurance naming the Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club as additionally insured is mandatory (some home owners’ and renters’ insurance policies can accommodate this coverage). Additional rates apply for the use of our stage, box office, additional tables and chairs, coat racks, floor mats, coffee urns, table cloths, decoration, etc. A $250 holding fee is necessary to confirm your rental. We also ask for a security deposit of $2000 (for the ballroom). We offer discounts for non-profit organizations and events for which no admission is charged.

B) The Upstairs Ballroom including the Balcony Hardwood floors, beautiful bay windows. Perfect for lectures, smaller dinners and more intimate parties. Capacity: for dining: 250 (including the balcony); for concert and dancing: 200. Rates are available upon request. Additional tables and chairs are available. We offer discounts for non-profit organizations and events for which no admission is charged.
